Interesting idea.  I've never tried something like this, so I dunno.  Neverthess, exercise of any kind is better than none.

What you suggested made me think of the 300, which is hella effective b/c you'll get all the blood flowing in your legs before pounding your shoulders, etc. which makes the work out more effective.  Check out Gym Jone's 300 workout (the bad movie) and give it a go.  This type of training works well.  Good luck and welcome back to the iron game.

Ah! Resurrection-thread!

Thanks Zapper!

At the moment, I jog to my gym (which lasts 20 minutes), do the Super Squats programme-thing, then jog back. I was doing this three times a week at the beginning of the year, fell out of it during the summer because I went away, and have gotten back into it in the last three weeks. So hopefully, if I can pay attention to eating better all will turn out well. As it is, I never stopped playing football (soccer) three times a week, and I eat probably more than I should, but I eat quite healthily - not too much sweets, no fizzy drinks, etc. So, we'll see.

I think after a couple of months, I'll look at where I am and see about changing the routine, I dunno.

My pleasure friend.   Grin

Someone mentioned crossfit, which is truly the cat's meow.  Fast and effective.  My only suggestion is to scale it to your own level.  "Fight gone bad" is particularly fun and a very great workout that is pretty quick although it will stay with you for a few days.
