I've only heard bad things about Bloodrayne, but I'll probably end up watching it anyway on the off chance she looks good.  I miss the days when Saturday night heralded Justice League episodes, with regular appearances of the lovely Wonder Woman...

Bloodrayne was crap of such spectacular dimensions that it it nearly defies description. Ms. Loken does indeed look good, really good in a few scenes, but hardly worth enduring the rest of the movie. Michael Madsen seems to be equal parts drunk and constipated, Michelle Rodriguez and her angry li'l face are just that side of unintelligible and Ben Kingsley clearly can't believe he's in the movie at all. At one point he literally can be heard phoning it in. In the so-called Director's Cut, there was a protracted epilogue I guess, in which we are treated to a montage of the bloodiest sword swipes, all in slow motion, in which it couldn't be more clear that the plumes of blood present with each blow from the various swords is being sprayed just off camera by a stage hand with a garden hose and is occasionally somewhat near the victim.  Definitely a 9 on the Suck-O-Meter (10 being Battlefield Earth).
