I’m stumped…

I have a HUGE dilemma… what are some good choice words that can be used for a muscular woman?  In writing a few FBB stories, I think I’ve run out of words used to describe a beautifully sculpted woman.

So what do other writers use for their one word portrait?

Just curious.

Peace and Love,

The key thing I am conscious of while writing superheroic / mythos stories is not to make a femuscular character come off sounding masculine in build.  For example, I wouldn't use the word "robust" in reference with a female character any more then I would use "Herculean".  Instead, "Junoesque" would be my choice, since it denotes that she's both impressively majestic in form as well as powerfully built.

In the end, there's only a limited number of words (and the combinations thereof) that you can work with to describe a well-honed, flawlessly sculpted musculture (male or female) - its all in how you use them to produce a positive effect in the mind of the reader.

BTW - since its on a somewhat related subject, the FMG clichés thread might be of interest to you.

Oh Lush as in lush like a tropical forest!

Okay, that one I can see.

For some reason I read lush as 'someone who drinks a lot'.

Plus, dictionary.com has lush meaning 'vibrant' and 'sensual'... sounds like a FBB to me!

Two words: Fucking Lush

That's a bit rude  Huh

Only if you use lush in the form meaning 'drunk' or associating with alcohol, not in the sense meaning 'vibrant' and 'sensual'. I thought that at first until I realized the word had two meanings and tried to clarify which one Ritz was probably referring to.

Reference library of choice: http://www.dictionary.com

I'm pretty sure on a pro-FBB page, the vibrant and sensual definition was the one best sought out.
