Thick is one I heard from a friend, which I rather like... so good call on that one Grandmaster.

I suppose other generic words like:

buff
powerful
ripped
cut
amazonic
hulking

That's about all I can think of off the top of my head.

there are of course words which are normally used to describe women, which still apply:

curvaceous
beautiful
statuesque
bountiful

and others which relate to muscle size:

mountainous
gargantuan
titanic
shredded
brawny
massive
potent

etc...

Thanks guys... I appreciate the help...

But I truly think that using 'male' words isn't necessarily a bad thing.  ‘Herculean’ and ‘hunk’ are terms I often use, taking the connotation that comes along with them, and twisting into an entirely new definition.  Plus, I write mostly for female readers, and one thing I always try to do is write the story as if it’s a persuasive paper… written to influence a straight normal girl (whatever that is)  Grin  in that a bulking mass of feminine muscle is the most arousing thing on earth.  Plus, nine out of ten readers always associate muscle and strength to a man, which isn’t anyone’s fault per se, but just the way our society is.  That’s why I love getting e-mails from women who say that they always thought of a muscular woman as weird or ugly, but after reading my story, they changed their minds.

To me, that is totally sexy…

Peace,

~Mimi

Amen Mimi.  My mind certainly was opened by discovering the sexiness of the buff female form. Wink Cool

Oh, and to all members, but particularly to those who would be tempted to make jokes about Beelzebub given that this is post number 666 from me - the number of the beast is actually 686 (according to BBC TV's QI programme).  So there. Grin

Some of my favorite include voluptuous, luscious, curvaceous, full bodied, Amazonian, statuesque, and then throwing in things like hardbodied, muscular, fit, firm, athletic, stuff like that, usually using a combination of the two for better affect (and not using the same ones over and over again in a small area of your story).
