the amaz0ns.com homepage is making my IE 6.0.9.... hang for the longest time. Probably something in one of the last 2 or 3 posts. Anyone else.

Please don't tell me to use firefox; I do, but not so much for the porn or meta-porn.

There's some javascript at the bottom of the page, including a couple site metrics trackers and Eurekster's Swicki.  It runs fine on IE7, so you might want to upgrade.
