WOOT! I hope they get some of the gladiators of old back..but seeing new ones wouldn't hurt either. In this day and age of the 'overweight obese america' a show that shows the coolness of competitive contests is just what this country needs Cheesy Maybe? Let the theme song become the worlds favorite RING TONE... you know they will make one if they don't have it already. Cheesy better yet..lets bring in "Gladiators" from around the world to participate...I think they did that once... For female gladiators from Japan I'd love to see Tomoko-san she could be nicked 'Steel' right? Anyway lets see what they bring..also can't wait for Heroes to return.. I think that's one of the best shows in awhile. Smiley Love Sammi

AG is back... on a national network to boot?  Sweet!  Grin

You know this is begging for fanfics out the wazoo... I wonder how stmercy's Sylph would fare on it?  Or Tetsuko? Or Lucky Lindy?

Tet-san vs. Sylph in Gladiators?  How much would I give to see that?  A LOT! Grin
Seriously, this, along with things like Jess Biel reviving, if only momentarily, the concept of buff women in Hollywood, suggests that the long, dark night for female muscle might be drawing to an end.  There's an inspiring and wise proverb that says that the longest, darkest night is follwed by the sweetest, most beautiful dawn.  Do I see the sun rising?  Just think a generation of teenage boys watch, and realise the awe-inspiring sexiness of the buff female form. Cool

Thanks Scott - I'm not sure of the exact proverb, but I think it's like the one that says that the worst part of the night if you're in a stressful situation (shipwrecked, for example) comes just before dawn, and that the dawn seems so much more beautiful when it comes.  It just seems to me like the heyday of femuscle was several years back, and that this could be a kickstart to the whole concept gaining back lost ground, that is, if they are going to have women in it (may sound stupid, but I haven't read definite confirmation yet, and, with the delicate, ultra-girly girl culture at the moment, we shouldn't take things for granted).

Maybe after DCM gets back from the land of nuts and fruits we can work something out... might be interesting.
