My being 6'7" and 240 lbs makes it difficult for me to feel spindly.......howev er on the few occasions i have run into those women who can almost look me in the eyes I do feel a little intimidated.  Mostly cuz i already Know how powerful a spirit the females have to begin with being raised by women and to see that in a larger container is awesome.(not "awesome dude" but AWEsome)

I'll tell you after I was around muscular girls.

But I'm not thin either.

What am I doing here? Smiley

I've had a few guys feel intimidated by me, even though I'm not that big, but mostly the men in my life totally appreciate what I do and am capable of and support me 100%, some even enjoy it too...  Wink Cheesy

It is person to person I'm sure. I'm fairly big and reasonably fit, so most of thre girls aren't stronger than me and if they are it isn't in useful type of strength. I used to get through guys who benched 500. Strength is mportant in weightlifting itself, but as far as applying it...you have to know how. I was joking with abig name fbb ...one the very big ones and she was telling me what a wuss she really is in spite of vids that might suggest to the contrary.

The girls are strong...don;t get me wrong, but when it comes to armwrestling and and that sort of thing leverage is important...and speed. Speed beats power in almost every sport. Definitely in combat sports, wrestling, and in football as well. I'm assuming some strength of course. Guys 250 often beat 350 as you say today. A guy who can bench 400 at 6-4 is alot more impressive than a guy who does it at 5-9. Longer arms.
A small guy migjht be used to getting picked on and have low self esteem. This question is too general, but I'd imagine many guys who are thin do feel that way. People judge on looks often. I mean first impression. Much more with guys than girls. They are more gentle, though appearances matter to them as well.

I work out a lot and I'm pretty strong, so I wouldn't feel spindly.

I *would* be pretty self conscious if I was around a girl that had a ripped 6 pack though. I gave into temptation too many times recently and its going to take me some time to get it back.

I just pent the weekend with my friend Heather (Darling) and just like before I never once felt spindly around her.  It was an awesome weekend of snowboarding (she skied), watching the Super Bowl and hanging out!   Smiley
