ComingSoon.net has learned that "Smallville" star Kristin Kreuk will play Chun-Li in Hyde Park Entertainment's Street Fighter: Legend of Chun-Li! Directed by Andrzej Bartkowiak from a Justin Marks script, the action pic starts filming in Thailand in March, 2008. 20th Century Fox will distribute the live-action feature based on Capcom's video game. The movie is focused on female fighter Chun-Li and her journey for justice.

She's a very pretty woman, but other than being 4" shorter than Chun LI (KK - 5' 4"/ CL - 5'8"), she's going to have to do some serious bulking and buffing up.
She is incredibly thin.No way she could be plausible as a street fighter.

Ming Na, in the first SF movie, was more athletically built and believable than she is.

I wonder if Rebekkah Kresila would like to get into acting. She'd be perfect.

Yeah... but I forgot...was Beckah's legs are good as her upper form...cause that was mostly what I saw. lol.

Oooooh wow,
I coudn't believe this when I saw it, KK as Chung-Li! Cheesy Sure, a lot of people may not like her much, but as a Smallville junkie, I do! (she's my fav of the show) And I'm sure builking he rup will be a good thing, if SMV is still around. But overally, awesome news, thanks for posting it!

I know what you mean, her upper body is pretty "hypnotic", but her legs are pretty nice, too. They aren't as large as in the game, but still very nicely shaped and powerful looking.
Looks-wise, she'd be more in the vein of the "realistic" Chun Li usually depicted in figures.

I like Kristin. But no way she could pull off the "Strongest Woman in the World". Can they even teach her the various wushu she needs to look convincing?

There will be press articles about how buff she got for the film, but at the end of the day she won't top 110 lbs.
