But you did initially.  You posted several times on the thread, but then the option just disappeared?

I think I confused the two problems. Here's the current behavior:

I can reply in this thread, but I can't modify posts in the thread here:
http://amaz0ns.com/option,com_smf/Itemid,135/topic,7072.0/

When I hit the reply link at the top of the thread, I get a blank page.  I can't modify older posts here either:

I got the same problem in replying to the thread shown below:
http://amaz0ns.com/option,com_smf/Itemid,135/topic,7113.0/

I tried both "Reply" and "Quote", but both ended up in a blank page Sad

Sorry, guys.  I don't know how to fix this and haven't been able to find any other board operator who's had the problem.  In a few months I'm going to move to another forum application but for right now we're stuck with this.

As part of my ongoing attempt to fix the forum weirdness, I tried something novel that will probably cause all sorts of unintended problems down the road.

I hesitate to ask, but if you see anything genuinely weird that has not previously been posted as a problem on the feedback forum, please post it here.
