Too Tired To Sleep

Okay, I have a question for you guys.

I've been writing for a long time. Since grade school, actually. Granted, it's all been diehard crap until I was seventeen or so, but at least I've had a goal since grade school.

During this time I've written a couple of She-Hulk stories. Now, before you guys get all happy, here's something I have to tell you:

One was written when I was fourteen, the other when I was seventeen. Both are being rewritten of course to meet a certain quality factor but the main question here is because of certain factors.

The first one deals with a fourteen-year-old girl and the other deals with a girl on the verge of eighteen. The first story is somewhat short and deals with wishes, the second is longer and revolves around a junior student who must try to help hide his girlfriend's secret identity as a She-Hulk while balancing school life and problems at home.

Both were sexualized when they were written, and I feel disgusted with both nowadays as I've grown older and more moralistic and less stupid/immature/whatever. Both were also written during fairly serious bouts of depression, and the writing reflected that as well. So I'm changing my content to be less sexualized, especially the first one, where it will be more "cute" and "adorable" (if such a thing is possible for a She-Hulk) than anything else. I'm also discarding the ramblings I made because of my depression and tightening everything up, and making the male leads less "sad sacks", if you will.

Will either story work within Amaz0ns, and perhaps just as importantly, would anyone be interested in reading them? I do not want to encourage any pedophilia, which is why the sexual content is being removed entirely (first story) or downplayed (second), and I'm wondering if the forumgoers here would want something more story-based than erotic-based.

Please respond, I am interested in hearing a response before I post any of these. I will have proper stories coming in the future featuring adult (or at least college-aged) She-Hulks and amazons, but I am wondering in whether you guys would rather see these relics from my past in writing.

Given the sexually-charged environment of FMG, GTS, Transgenic etal, however well-meaning or innocent the story(s) might be in nature, the character(s) should be 18 or older, period.

I would be interested in any stories you come up with in the future of girls that are 18+.  We can never have enough She-Hulk material!

While I am not condoning any under 18 stories, I believe there are quite a few on brawna.org (run by lingster), and probably a good amount on this site that haven't been "locked down" for lack of a better term.

As I've waxed lyrical on several sites in recent years... - and it's likely that my own age has proven to be a factor in my increased disdain for it - it's not big or clever to write stuff with people below the age of concept if the story is intended as pornographic... now, obviously the age of consent varies but it's generally nice to play it safe and say 18.

I'm using porn in a very general sense... specifically the definition given to it - to lead to sexual arousal. Yes, the 14 year old out muscling her older brother may never have any sexual overtones etc. but when I'm reading porn... I don't want a bunch of kids in it. That's actually a pretty general statement in itself... I'm talking 0 kids in a story intended as erotica. There are a number of reasons but let's just say, it's better to be safe than sorry and I think the days when people would overlook ages have passed.

Yes, some people still write them. Yes, I imagine a pretty high percentage of people still read them... and yes, there are still a metric ton of them posted around the 'net... That's hardly a justification though.

Well I'm not sure we're at the point where we should be actively purging that material.  But surely strongly discouraging it is justified (and welcome by myself and obviously others).

I think there's some unwritten rule that reposts of stories that feature underage characters are acceptable but brand-new ones are not. I know for one that Lingster has done such stories in the past (Will's Power, anyone?).

Both stories were going to have their sexual moments removed, but if they still aren't acceptable, then they're not and I'm not going to fight it out. I might still post the "high school" one someday by aging the characters (thus making them acceptable), but I'll probably will only write fresh material at first (which I am . . . though college and other responsibilities are interfering).
