I just recently heard of the newest mortal kombat game to be released....what a shocker....
So apparently its due for fall 2008,with about 20-22 characters equally split between the two factions...each character has his own face-off(ie:Batman and subzero...).But for some reason I dont see any DC comics superheroine facing off with one of the MK girls...
Any comments?

I think they only showed Batman and Sub so far.

And my personal opinion, if it plays like MK:Armageddon, I'm going to absolutely hate it.

Scorpion and superman have also been confirmed.
I think they're reworking the fighting system though,so it should be better.

It never worked before.

And now with no Fatalities, the game has gone from a crappy fighting game with some novelty to a crappy fighting game with some novelty that won't last.

To be fair, I'm surprised it took this long after the surprising awesomeness of Marvel vs Capcom.

Naturally, the Street Fighter 2 franchise is much better than MK, but what can you do?

Ed Boon was tired of shitting all over his franchise, so he decided to pull another one down and shit all over it as well.

The day John Tobias left Midway, the Mortal Kombat franchise took a nose dive straight to hell.

I hope it does well, the MK fans are probably pissed since theyre fav characters cant do thier final moves but if you think about it how much sense does it make if scorpion pulls out Supermans spine anwyay...

I think they should have done one hell of a Marvel vs capcom with those graphics or MK vs Street fighter.
