I do not consider myself a writer but this would be an interesting exercise in getting off my arse and trying to put ideas into text. 

Although I've stalled badly on the story I'm supposed to be working on (), count me in.

I need at least a general idea of the basic concept before
deciding whether I can (or want to) participate.  I prefer
more sci-fi than fantasy setting, and don't really feel
like participating in gore now.

The XX Factor!

Those two XX’s are meant to be the Roman Numeral 20! 

Here’s the concept:  20 Men around the world are (granted the power of) (injected/implanted with a ___ which causes) (wish for) (changed by aliens) (or whatever you can create) [You pick] the following:  Every 20th woman (5%) who comes within a radius of 20 feet, will over the next 20 hours grow 20 inches taller and 20 times more muscular. 

For example, the guy in question boards an airplane and we’ll estimate there’s about 60 women on the plane, three of those women will then turn into Amazons within the next day.  Also, assuming the average woman can curl at least 10 pounds, she would then be able to curl, with one hand, 200 plus pounds!

Each author gets to write about one of those 20 men and how their lives are affected and how they go about spreading (or not spreading) the Amazon blessing/curse throughout the world.

Multiple transformations are allowed (up to three total) if an already transformed woman happens to be the 20th woman within range of one of the 20 men.  For example, girlfriends, wives, mothers, daughters (keep it legal!!!) who have more contact with one of the men would be more likely to receive multiple transformations.  The changes are genetic and hereditary only from mother to daughter.

There is a Detective on this case who’s trying to put all the pieces together, his name is Carl Morris and he specializes in paranormal investigations of FMG and GTS.  He should make an appearance in each of the 20 stories, or at least be mentioned/referenced in some way.
