Content and development questions

I am trying to get a feel for this forum. I have a story that I wrote a while ago. Its been posted elsewhere, but I was wondering how well it's content would be received here. I haven't gone through all the stories, so I don't know how many of them are very sexual in nature.
My story is very well written, if I do say so myself, and one person said she could see a movie being made out of it... If it weren't for the very sudden, and frankly strange sexual interlude that occurs in it near the end. Now, I'm not exactly ashamed of it or anything, though admittedly, the sexual aspect, while intentional, was tailored to what I perceived was my audiences' interest. I would like to see how worthwhile it would be to repost here. Comments?

Wow, you're almost as modest about your writing skills as I am...
Just mark it NSFW and you'll be fine.

Well, I go by what people tell me, and they usually tell me good things. If the book industry weren't twice as cutthroat and three times as difficult to get a foot into as the movie industry, I'd try to be a mainstream author. Good as I think I am, I don't know that I'm good enough for all that.
Anyway, thanks for the response. I think I will upload it here. it is freaky stuff though.

I don't think that you need to worry about it too much. All material that I've seen is pretty well received here.

I know I seem to be repeating myself but,
I've been mulling it over for a while and while editing the aforementioned story (for what must be the 7th or 8th time
), I have been wondering, how well received would a story which includes certain sexual strangeness, bordering on (and perhaps breaching) the grotesque be here? I promise it is a well written, and thoughtful story, even those occasional strange sequences.
It wasn't till I came here that I was even worried about it, despite originally not wanting to put that stuff in my story at all, at least not so soon (that is, in the story I have written so far, which amounts to the first chapter in a potential saga).

I'm not sure what you're asking for. No one here is going to shoot you down because they don't like your work; people who don't like it will just keep their mouths shut. As for me, if you post it, I'll read it. If I like it, I'll say so. If it freaks me out--which isn't easy to do, but isn't impossible--I'll only comment if I have something constructive to say. The only thing I know for sure is that it can't be well-received if you don't post it

You sound really apprehensive. Don’t worry… we’re only human. Relax and delight in the privilege we all have in exploring our crazy fetishes!
Oh, and I do beg to differ... the movie industry is just as cut throat and as vile as any other industry I know. Which sector of the movie industry were you referring to?
Peace and Love,
~Mimi

I 'spose. I guess I'll just have to jump in and see. Anyway's I was referring to the book industry, as I have been lauded for my talents as a writer, but I don't think I'm good enough to make a decent living as such, because that industry is harder to deal with, from what I've read, than the movie or music industries.
Not necessarily in terms of shadiness, but that it's more quality driven, which while good, unfortunately means that it's far more difficult to be successful in.
