I guess the administration over there was getting off on some "kiss the ring" type thing.
Pretty much. I was always kinda vocal when the Admin would do something colossally retarded. Maybe that was part of my problem, but I really can't stand sycophants when things are clearly being handled improperly.
For example, at one point I decided that hey, I've been actually benefiting a lot from the forum (learning about new previously-unknown gorgeous women, as I mentioned earlier), so I might as well donate, and get VIP access while I'm at it. Especially since a lot of the really excellent threads were being moved to the VIP section abruptly and without warning anyway. You can either get VIP access by donating, or by collecting "karma" by posting quality posts and then the users "applaud" you, giving you a karma point. The number of karma needed to get into the VIP section sort of steadily climbed, and it was at about 500 when I donated. I had about 230 at the time.
So I donate, like, $15 or something via PayPal. I got double-charged, but I contacted PayPal and told them what was up and they refunded my money. Of course, the Admins at sarada$ had no idea why I got double-charged, but whatever. I got it fixed, so no biggie.
The way it was worded was, you donate to the servers, and you get VIP access. End of story. So I get VIP access, that's pretty cool, but the VIP section wasn't all that impressive because it was mostly just ported threads from the "free" section that I'd already seen several weeks or months prior.
About a month and a half go by, and then suddenly I don't have VIP access anymore. I'm all confused, so I PM the Admin and ask what's up. He informs me that if I want VIP access back, I should donate another $15. I (politely, kinda) tell him that that's sort of bullshit, that the instructions for VIP access don't say anything about donating more than once, and all of a sudden I find my account disabled. Post count reset, karma count reset.
I ask him what just happened, and he claims to have no idea what's going on, and that sometimes people "accidentally" disable their own accounts. I obviously didn't do this, and when I ask for my account to get restored, my messages got ignored.
