Oh I was a member there, I'll freely admit that. I didn't hate the place either, for reasons I gave earlier in the thread -- that place introduced me to a lot of gorgeous women I'd have never heard of otherwise, and that stuff wasn't even pirated material - it was freely available on the web, but I'd never seen it and someone else did the leg-work and brought it to people's attention.
I just hate BlackModelling. He's a colossal douchebag and the place deserves to get shut down simply because he's the one running it.

I'll never understand the 'Forum Sawadas' fixation on other message boards. Why do they care what people say about them on other forums? Seems like if you're going to promote yourself as a pirate, you're not really entitled to get upset when people call you that.
What offends me isn't even the pirating. I don't really care.
What offends me is that he makes you PAY for pirated material *thus erasing any gray area and making a beeline for 'illegal'* and has the nerve to insist he has a RIGHT to do so.
There are MANY controversial things you have a right to do.
Selling people shit that isn't yours? Not one of 'em.

I agree with the last comment. Piracy is unstoppable, but
selling
the stuff?
That's something that I can't get over with...
And I admit, that I was a member there too. But how things are going there... Man, that was enough...

There are tons of people who pirate material to resell. And it's been going on for years - it first happened to me about 10 years ago, when some purveyor I won't mention by name was selling CDs with stories on 'em, including my stories. There was a guy down in Argentina who used to burn all the pay site videos to DVD and sell 'em - I think he's stopped. There's a lot of trashy stuff going on out there.

Equally as funny as the "pay me for pirated stuff" is the fact that they say you can become a member by collecting "X" amount of karma points instead of donating 15 bucks, but cant't view/access any of the forums to do exactly that!.
It proves that their out for only money and could care less about the fbb community as a whole.

Probably the wrong place to introduce myslef, so
I'll make it quick. I've been around in various guises... actually no, just names since the
Big Mouth
era and I'm back this time to just talk, I'm a good boy I am, I promise.
I've just read this thread through and can't help but think of the hypocrisy (and I include myself) that is breeding here. Personally I had joined said forum in the recent past and was banned in what seemed like hours for posting support in a thread that objected to how it operates. I'm probably wrong, but it might have been Rick who started the thread. So no big loss, I really didn't like the site.
But who here hasn't watched a video on say, Dailymotion, that the poster didn't have rights to? I'm guessing none of us.
I understand that this is, in an odd manner...well... political, and also affects those who spend the time, effort and money. Which in turn short changes those who are genuine consumers of a prefectly legitimate product.
So why aren't we infuriated to the point of vocal opinion over every other kind of piracy? Or are you?
Did I go too far?

The funny thing is that all relevant boards on sawadas are VIP now.
And you must have XXX karma points to access them. But how? You cannot post anything on those boards, they are closed for you. So you have to pay for them.
It was stupid and greedy. Because if I'm willing to pay, I'll do it for the video and image owners, because when you are buying something, you are doing an investment for them to make more. And being honest, is not that expensive and you have real service.
Now, paying for links of rapidshare? It just does the opposite for the models and companies who bring them. Bad karma for you.
Donation must a willingly act, if not, is charging.

I oppose it mostly for a practical reason: too much piracy stifles new content production. Sawadas has made too much of a spectacle of itself - too much attention is focused on it and its owner. My prediction is Sawadas will be gone soon.
