Akiko Daimon

To celebrate my 1000th post, it's appropriate for me to post about Akiko Daimon.  It's strange to think that anyone's favorite game character would only make a brief appearance in a mahjongg game, but that's the case with me.  My favorite character is Akiko Daimon, who is one of the opponents you face in Taisen Hot Gimmick Forever.

Akiko Daimon Commissions by elee0228

I've been busy commissioning various pieces from artists that I like, so I figured this would be a good opportunity to put all of it in one place.  The new pieces are by Mikazuki-dono, Fettcom, and Zanfadar, respectively.  I've posted the pieces by Jebriodo ( thread ) and Refaal ( thread ) before and am including them for completeness.  I'll post new commissioned artwork as they are completed in this thread.

Akiko Daimon Fan-art

There's not a whole lot of fan-art to be found of this character, but I've come across some on PIXIV.  If you've read my post on how to get started on PIXIV, then you'll know more about the site.  Make sure that you login to an account in order to view the full sized pictures you'll get when clicking on the thumbnails above.  If you don't have an account, try using amaz0ns as the name and password. The first pic is by an artist named REN, and the second is by an artist named A4.  The last picture is from post #313 of a now defunct oekaki BBS.

Character Information

This information is pulled from a previous post:

Quote

I've mentioned this one before, but it bears repeating.  Jun Tsukasa provides the artwork for Taisen Hot Gimmick Forever (対戦 ホット ギミック フォーエバー) which features a girl from a bodybuilding club called Akiko Daimon (大門明子).  The Taisen Hot Gimmick series is a Mahjongg game played by Japanese rules, and this particular title is the fourth one in the series.

The game was originally released in the arcades, and was ported to the PC by a company MyHarvest.  The site for the PC conversion has some more good images from the game. There's a  product page for it at Amazon.co.jp (you'll need to click on the link labeled [はい]), but it's not in stock there anymore.  It's pretty hard to find these days, but I was lucky enough to grab it from an on-line store called HimeyaShop.  Unfortunately, it's not available from there anymore.  If you can find a copy, it will run under the English version of Windows XP.

Akiko-chan is one of the first players that you'll play against.  Each opponent starts out with a certain amount of points, and you play until you either run out of points or you win three hands in a row.  The rules of the game are very close to Gin Rummy, and the goal is to make hands of three-of-a-kind or three-in-a-row with all your available tiles.  You can claim your opponents discarded tiles ("chi" or "pon") or draw tiles until you can win via a "ron".  The path to winning is made easier by various power-ups that you can use which make it more likely to complete your sets.

After beating your opponent, you're given the choice to punish them or to let them be.  Each character has two different punishments.  In the case of Akiko-chan, you can force her to do some posing or do some weightlifting.  As she poses, she flexes her chest up to a point where her top comes flying off.  In the weightlifting punishment, she's topless on a bench with the barbell covering her chest as she lifts and exposes more of her breasts.  The jiggle factor is high in the scenes.  I managed to get some screencaps of the punishments, and even put together a worksafe animated gif of the posing punishment.  I've got a higher resolution version which I'll post if there's demand for it.

If you can hunt down a copy, it's definitely worthwhile just for these few scenes.  It was a bit of a challenge to beat the whole game, and a lot of the other characters are also quite attractive.  Some of the other punishments in the game are pretty interesting.  There are also two hidden characters which you can unlock.  If you manage to score a copy, I'd be happy to help if you have any problems winning.

You've been a  beacon of far-east media elee0228.

Thank you for taking the time create the Pixiv tutorial.

You've been an incredible explorer of the internet in discovering these avenues of far-eastern feminine strength.

Your kindness in aiding Jebriodo with a deviant art account is a testament to your collaborative nature.

The artwork you've commissioned of Akiko Daimon perfectly captures her playful nature. If a woman so capable would consider enduring Double Dare punishments for losing Mahjongg, Akiko seems more motivated than stubborn.

After all in the fictional world of board game obsessed fetish derived nymphs there's at least one that can open the pickle jar herself.  Cool

All the commissions turned out great! Thank you for sharing them with us. I can see the interest you are generating in this character growing into a real cult following. I hope it leads to her getting her own Manga or something.

Anyway, congratulations on your 1000th and many thanks for your dedication in promoting Japanese Amazon artists!

If you're interested in the commission process, I've posted sketch 1 and sketch 2 to my scraps section:
