A Question of Artists – Who would you prefer?

This installment of Inside the Writer's Studio will concern itself about an aspect of content. As an author, who would you prefer to artistically render your character(s) from your story(s)?
Perhaps it might only be one, or you might have several in mind that you believe have the gifted talent to capture the visual essence of your character(s).
It could be someone here on Amaz0ns, or perhaps one of the eBay commission artists that have come to our attention, or a professional artist/illustrator (i.e. Alex Ross, Ken Kelly, etc), or someone unknown.

it's very difficult
or uneasy
to answer this simple question because all artists, in their own way, have interesting styles.
What i can say is all artists can give a plus to my stories but not me
, because i have a single point of view of the scenes. Another artist, with another point of view can really improve the story.
The sketches, the inking or the colouring are not important but the point of view.
on the other hand, of course, i think the drawings must be sufficiently realistic
) . Else, why to render this kind of stories in such a forum.
the drawings can be very simples and realistics anyway.

If I had to chose among ACTIVE female muscle arists, I'd go with (order of preference):
1. Stef (
http://hardbodies.deviantart.com/
): his work is just really, really, really, really, REALLY...good. Particularly good at doing dynamic scenes. None better IMO.
2. CST (
www.lhart.com
): his characters just overwhelm you with their size, muscularity and power.
3. Bill Quick (
www.lhart.com
): he does cartoons for the most part, but they are very sexy nonetheless, and a suprising amount of detail and care goes into his work.

Well, the truth is... I've been afraid to ask.
I think it's pretty self-evident whose big fanboy I am,
simply from looking at my virtual bookshelf of fanfic stories. However I'm extremely reluctant to ask anything from him, because he's immensely popular, is thus up to his eyeballs in requests and commissions already, and, like me, has to keep up with an AFK life.
Oh yes, I've done original stuff (hey, it happens), but I'm still not quite sure who'd be the best artist for it. I try to envision an artist's style, and I can't seem to make it and my story fit together. I think my stories are sort of the Dr Pepper of the genre... sweet, but the flavor's kind of hard to pin down.
Also, something crippling... I'm afraid making requests will make me look like a moocher, and the ones that I like are already booked solid. I'd gladly trade in my junk food money for commissions, of course, but I'm kind of a cash-and-carry person... and have you ever tried to send money from beyond the People's Republic of China?
While I'd welcome any artwork of my stuff gladly, I guess I've been content/resigned to letting my artist be the Mind's Eye.

I think he's referring to DCM.
I would think so, too.
In any case, you have to keep in mind there is a difference between artistic interpretations (solicited by you or not) and a more formal presentation of your characters.
A point of clarity:
I probably should have stated this in my original posting, but what I had in mind was for mainstream artwork for the cover and any illustrations for the inside of your published story. That said, however, I'm leaving the discussion open for a broader input on the topic.

DCM... If you can't ask him, then order him... Like a super villain would.
Cease your mindless scribbling cartooning slave and Behold the awesome project of ____
<-- (Insert project name here)
Dose it not Amaze you!
Now Draw it like your very soul depends on on the outcome!... Which it does!
Then laugh manically.
Trust me, he'll be impressed by your initiative and will gladly submit to your will.
.... I think...
Oh well. Only one way to find out.
