Interesting essay from a women's website on a suject I'd mused about a fair bit recently:  Why are women expected to be powerful in all ways except physically?

I don't think we can reasonably expect all women to be inspired by it.  Different strokes for different folks.  I would hope that those who have a predisposition psychologically towards wanting to improve themselves physically might be inspired. Cool

I can definitely relate to this.  I'm as tall or taller than all my bosses, even without heels, towering with heels.  I'm in shape from all my running, and definitely "ripped, defined, muscular" thanks to my lifting and yoga.  No one's said anything, other than a few compliments, but I catch their glances every once in a while.  I work in a great office and never feel uncomfortable, but I'm definitely a strong presence...  Grin
