The beautiful actress/model MELISSA DETTWILLER guest stars in 'Quantum Leap - A Leap to Di for'

In staying with the original spirit of the show, the Producers wanted to end the show with a funny, surprise ending. For months, the crew tried to come up with a unique way to continue on with Dr. Sam Beckett's next leap, and several fantastic ideas were tossed around.

One concept was to have Sam leap into the fanfilm of Star Trek vs. Batman, another had Sam leaping into Wonder Woman. As fun and exciting those ideas were, Director Christopher Allen felt those concepts didn't have the "surprise" element as the show used to have.

RACSO welcomes the beautiful and talented Mrs. Dettwiller to the Quantum Leap fan based production, premiering in Hollywood March 27, 2009 at the 2009 Leapback Festival.

Well well well...I was hoping for a cute FBBer, but I never dared hope for as much of a hottie as Melly-Mel! Shocked Cool  Then again, it doesn't surprise me, as she seems game for almost anything and seems to be comfortable with who she is and the attention she gets.  In fact, from what I've heard, and with the brief conversation I had with her when I was an Unreal member, I would say that she revels in it!  Can I wait in turn behind Mimi for a chance of a snog with Melissa?
