!

Chris sweetie, I agree... we must have been paternal twins considering all the similar things we adore and fancy. You're always so kind.  Kiss

Peace and Love,

~Mimi

Thanks Mimi - it is strange how our tastes are so similar.  Also, you know I shall never tire of seeing THAT photo! Wink

Agreed, it's good to hear they're moving forward on this.  And it gives me an excuse to watch bad sci-fi!

Its from last year, and not in my WW costume, which I actually am working on!
~Mimi

Glad to know you've still working on it, perhaps as a New Years Eve costume?

Oh, and maybe as an alternative, I would suggest She-Hulkie - you certainly went "savage" in verbally smashing siouxcountry @ Unrealmuscle.

Bravo, and well done!  Cool

Alex ~ You saw that, did you?  Ughhhh...  Roll Eyes  I never get that mad on forums, but for some reason, that guy's lunacy just set me off.  I did go all 'She-Hulk' on him, and gave him a thrashing he rightfully deserved.  I guess a lot of it was because I feel that this is a great chance to "mainstream" FFB'ers, something I've been championing for a while... A lot of it is just because I'm tired of seeing a woman with muscle portrayed as a freak , or as a bumbling baboon in most mainstream commercials or TV shows.  I was totally stoked when I saw their casting notice, especially when they planned to build an entire episode around a FBB and the trials and issues of being a FBB'er in society.  I thought that was a FANTASTIC premise.

And I am soooooooo thrilled that my Buff Doll Mel is in it too!  I can't wait to see it!!

But as for those idiots on UnReal, I tell ya... the tone and behavior of that board is... well, sickening to say the least.  I think I'll probably leave, or just post to my chicas threads.

Peace and Love,

~Mimi

Finally getting a chance to reply to this thread again. I kept coming across that picture of Mimi and forgetting who I was and what I was doing...

Anyway, I'm so happy this is going ahead, but since it's Quantum Leap and they're only asking for 1-2 hours worth of work from the FBB, I hope that doesn't mean we're going to see a 6 foot man in his mid-thirties up on stage in a posing bikini! Anyway, I'm sure there will be creative ways around it, like mirrors in the gym and him through a camcorder, etc. At any rate, I hope this production puts female bodybuilding in a positive light, as it looks like the movie version of Chemical Pink is still in production and is likely to do plenty of damage if it ever gets made.

Ah, dear lady, there's lit'l that I miss.  Wink

Rest assured, you did real Amazons fans proud.  Grin  Cool

Well, as I told - I think it was Chris, that I prefer to stealth surf there, as I as do with other forum boards.  Collecting choice intel on the latest news, photo-op or artwork of buffedness, then posting it here.

Really, there is no better set of forums then Amaz0ns, IMHO - your one stop femuscle shop.  Grin
