I just saw these over on the QL boards, and thought these looked great!  I was a bit sad not to see Melissa in the role, but think they pulled it off nicely... of course, I need to see it first.  Wink

I just hope they do a FBB true justice!!

Peace and Love,

Love the 80s hair and makeup on Beth! As for her casting, is it a coincidence that she works for NBC and NBC own the rights to Quantum Leap? Maybe the producers of this fan-film did a deal, so NBC would get some cross-promotion out of it.

Lame....

Total cop-out.

Fuck Quantum Leap, and yes, I actually used to watch the show back in the day.  Not surprised at choice of so-called bodybuilder since I seem to remember how bad the final episode was.

Screw it, way to safe.  People seem to forget how damn popular Chyna used to be when she was muscular back when WWF was still cool.  People can respond to a visually striking muscular woman in the media, I am convinced.

I am not convinced.  Though people did respond OK to Chyna, I would say that was a vocal minority.  Compared to the thousands of comments left on youtube essentially saying "Eew, she's a man!"

At least you can see some muscle on Beth, regardless of the fact that she's a little bit tiny mass wise.

Agreed.  I'd have preferred to have seen Mel in the role (or Cindy or...) but Beth is still impressive by everyday standards.
