Haha, sure.  I guess a flood of 3, maybe 4 private messages almost killed your hard-drive before.

Stay sharp, stay alive; Soldier

No, it was more like 9, several days in a row. No one said anything about a slowing of my computer...it was just annoying as hell.

I don't know what your problem is. I didn't do anything to you.

I was just making fun, honestly Tongue
But your response to Blulew came out as uncalled for.  I could say, "I don't know what Riddick's problem with Blulew is, he didn't do anything to her."  It was as less offensive than your assumption that Blulew was after your digits and your knickers

But, there is a topic so let's talk about that.

On one of your links, the diet layout, it gives this advice to those who want to lose weight while gaining muscle.  It says,
Quote from: Lee Hayward
You should eat 0.4 grams of fat per pound of bodyweight each day.

As a guy with an Endomorphic body type, that is to say chubby, I'm pretty quick to question any advice that I should eat fat.
What is your experience with fat levels while getting into shape?

I liked the first link you gave, especially the beginners section.
"DON'T GET CAUGHT UP IN MINUTIA - FOCUS ON FUNDAMENTALS" seems like an excellent tip, and includes the word "minutia," which is a plus.

If it was all in good fun, then no harm done. I see the problem here, though:

I didn’t assume anything about Blulew. I was just being clear as to who I am and what I’m about to make sure he, and anyone who read it, didn’t assume anything about me. Like I said, I have had to deal with this before. As far as I know, he’s a normal guy not looking to hit on me or anything, and unless he does something to shake that impression, it’s how I’ll think of him. You just get the dorks that think “Hey, chick you likes muscles in a muscle forum, SHE MUST BE HERE SO I CAN HIT ON HER!!!1111ONE” and thus I’m hit on. Or “wow, she posted a pic, that means she digs me!” People misinterpret things all the time (even here, I didn’t know you were joking), so I wanted to take a precaution. For some guys, when a chick answers a question he asked about her (even something as stupid as “how tall are you?”), he takes that as me flirting with him even if all I say is “5’7.” I know, it sounds stupid and unrealistic, but trust me, it happens. And if it sounds stupid and unrealistic, good for you for not being one of those dorks.
But yeah, I didn't think he was hitting on me. Just on the off-chance that he was or might, or that anyone who did or might reads my comment to him, now they know.

Naturally, you want to make sure to eat GOOD fats…aka, the mono- and poly-unsaturated stuff, as found in nuts and salmon for example. Stay away from saturated fat. You probably knew this, but in case you didn’t, you do now.
When I was on a weight-loss diet, I strayed from as many fats as I could, except for in salmon because I know Omega-3 fatty acids are good for you. I wouldn’t eat nuts and I stayed as low-fat as possible. Fats scared the crap outta me.
Now that I’ve lost the weight and am on a bodybuilding regimen, I do consume fat because Lee Hayward (the dude on the link) says to do so. You know, it’s how it all works together and I’ve heard this from more than one place, but only Mr. Hayward has ever presented me a formula Smiley In conjunction with eating good fats, I upped my protein intake and am taking Zinc (natural muscle builder) and Kelp (iodine for a healthy thyroid) supplements, I have increased my strength dramatically in the past two weeks. Well, dramatically to me, I don’t know what people usually gain. In the past two weeks, I almost doubled my bicep strength, and in the past week (incidentally, I started eating more fats in the past week), I am now doing almost as much weight with one arm on the rowing machine as I did with two arms (I fractured one of my fingers, so it’s all one-handed rows until she heals).

That's what I figured, about the fat.

About the semi-paranoia about getting hit on, you could make a Sig saying, "yo es taken, el douche" or something.
That way you could get your message across without it seeming so personal

Yeah, I don't know if the fat and muscle gain are correlated or if I'm getting stronger to compensate for the left side, but since I still work out the left side, just differently to spare my finger...you never know.

:whines: But then I can't post my links!!!!!!!!
It's a good idea though...let's see if it'll fit. Okay, what do you think?

What it lacks in Spanish and humor it makes up in functionality.
Even the Queen can't raise her nose to that.  :-)

Amazing protein source no one thinks about?  Ostrich!

Here’s the nutritional value in 8 oz:
260 Calories
56g Protein [comparable to beef]
5g Fat [less than 1/3 that of beef]
40% RDA Iron [more than beef]
100mg Cholesterol [versus 160mg in beef]

For those of you who haven’t tried it, it tastes like filet mignon.  I just made a pan-fried ostrich with pepper sauce for company last night.  One of my friends described it, “I feel like my mouth just had an orgasm.”  I think that means they liked it too…

Just so you know, I picked mine up from a Hannaford supermarket.  You can also look for it online at places like http://www.naturalfrontierfoods.com or at a local importer.

Yeah, I've never, ever seen ostrich offered in any supermarket...but if I do, I'll make sure to grab some.

Picked up some beef tongue the other day. Mmmm Smiley
