Sorry for the delay.  I was out of town for the weekend…

I just got a reply from the production company.  It’s the same guys who did the Quantum Leap one earlier this year with Beth “Venom” Horn!  Anyway, here’s what they said:

“mimi thanks for getting the word out for us again. basically, we need someone who can act as well as portray wonder women the way we think she should look.”

That’s VERY encouraging!!  Its about time!!  You know, even if this is a fanfilm, if its done right, then I’m all for it.

I think they’re looking for someone realistically attainable too, meaning that big names like Brooke Shields or Dara Torress are sadly out.  Sad  We can dream though, right?

I agree with you mistaricsta, Alina would be a fantastic choice, but her English is not up to speed.

Peace and love,

~Mimi

Doesn't Beth Horn live in Chicago? The Wizard Comic Con is taking place there next month. Maybe that company would like to pass by and ask Beth for some help in finding candidates.

For a left-field suggestion, how's about strongwoman Kara Mann?

What about Beth herself? A blonde played a red-haired Mary Jane, a red-head played a blonde Gwen Stacy, and a brunette played a blonde Sue Storm, so why not?

Because exept for Gwen, they weren't quite a good choice?

Hey hey! Beth Horn IS scheduled to appear at the Chicago Wizard Con next weekend! Jamie Reed Kovac and Lisa Marie Varon are among the many amazons also appearing! If anybody can go there, please tell what they think of a WW fanfilm!

I had no idea about Wizard Con this weekend as I have to work, but I do have a friend going in my stead, and she’s going to ask Jamie about the WW film.  I “heard” that there will be an announcement at GENCON in Indianapolis next weekend about the film, but that as we all know is just that… hearsay.

I did some digging around last night and found some STRIKING fan images of WW too, which nearly made me cry it looked soooooooooo remarkable.

Apparently, this guy does quite a few of these, and his site is here.

Peace and love,

~Mimi

Hah! That was a picture of Jennifer Garner! I recognise the background and the pose, I wanted to morph that picture.

It's an awesome work!
