The guy at hardbodyvideo responded that the artist is by 'a guy in spain' but couldn't give more information than that at the moment.  He says he can dig up the name next week.

Well,at least we have an idea as to who this person is...Though I wonder if he actually does more work like this...Sometimes,people just get commissioned to draw buff babes.

He couldn't find the information about the artist, but did reveal that he was found on DeviantArt.  I searched a bit, but couldn't find a style match.  Argh.

Success! Props to AlacDA for guessing that the artist is NeMAfronSPAiN.  He was indeed correct, which I confimed with both the helpful person at Hardbody Video, and the artist himself.  As I suspected, the artist was someone who was on my devwatch list and someone I've come across before.  Nema was available for commissions, so I'm happily discussing a commish of Akiko Daimon with him as I write this.  Here's some more wonderful artwork from his gallery:

Pretty sure that he's on my watch list as well.  Based on his work to date, he should produce a great Akiko Daimon drawing.

Edit: turns out he wasn't, but that was easily rectified.
