Hello folks! I’ve been a lurker on this website for a while, and I’ve been a fan of FMG stories involving height growth, muscle growth, and yes, BE.
However, like anyone else with a general interest in reading, I also like good writing. Character development is one of my favourite aspects of storytelling.
Do you guys have any thoughts on how the psychological effects of a girl turning into an Amazon (upon herself and her peers) is best conveyed in writing?
Are there any stories by writers in this community (or other FMG communities, as there are other websites ad forums that do involve people with an interest in it) you think gives a very strong, convincing, and realistic sense of character development and psychology?
Discuss away, folks!

That stated, thanks for pointing me to that story, Cowprobe.
But yes, it might have been better had I been more specific – there are many variables to deal with. But what I was hoping people would discuss, would be examples of stories where the psychology found in the FMG story is gripping or convincing or realistic. To state what might be trite and obvious – language is the key to controlling the situation.

Although Hi-Standard primarily wrote GTS themed stories, “Giantess Chronicles: Growth Encounter”, would be another. If GTS isn’t to your liking, he also penned two non-GTS stories, “Boomfood” and “The Inheritors”, which focused on the Muscle Growth transformation.

Do you have any insights of your own on the psychological aspects of transformation stories, or conveying the psychological effects of through writing?
June 2, 2013 at 8:42 pm #114259AlexGKeymasterMy observation is that few of the online GTS/FMG stories contain any real depth and/or character development to them. The majority is auto erotica, and with a fetish orientation. This is probably why so many of them are left in an unfinished state. The author had a personal growth fantasy to express, but then after TF scene (sometimes w/ sex mixed as a part of – or immediately taking place thereafter) then it hangs, seemingly having no idea what to do next, probably because they never had any concept to follow through with as a logical conclusion.
As for the psychology of transformation, it depends on your target goal. The concept of the average, everyday individual gaining physical size and power. Is the character someone that will rise to the occasion, becoming better then they were before, and not falling into a narcissistic power trip trap?
Alternatively, flip side, will certain inheritent flaws in them be magnified and their excesses unbound since they feel as if they are completely unrestrained, and potently unstoppable. Another, might be a case of the once-antagonist as someone that seeks redemption, and is usually harder to pull off as a plausible concept. Also, just as a sidebar, if you haven’t already, you might want to check out some of the topics in the Writing Q & A forum section that I posted a few yrs back concerning certain facets of story writing. Mostly these threads were directed towards the on-line writers, but not exclusively. One of more interesting ones was about including, or not including, a character that smokes.
