    Anita Ekberg, ea quæ in fonte Trevi in La Dolce Vita natavit, transita est aevo LXXXIII.

    In memory of Anita Ekberg, who went for a swim in the Trevi fountain in La Dolce Vita, who has passed away age 83.

    My interpretation of the fountain scene:

    My first memory of her is from a cheesy TV movie called, IIRC, Gold of the Amazon Women. She was the queen of the amazon tribe.

    I was reading, she was destitute, poor thing.
