With the end of the Ms. Olympia competitions, the 2015 Wings of Strength Rising Phoenix World Championships, held on August 22, 2015 at the Grand Hyatt, San Antonio, Texas, will be the successor to the Ms. Olympia and the next big grand competition in pro fbb.

The following are qualified for the 2015 Wings of Strength Rising Phoenix World Championships:

Iris Kyle United States 2014 Ms. Olympia 1st (retired)
Alina Popa Romania 2014 Ms. Olympia 2nd (not competing)
Debi Laszewski United States 2014 Ms. Olympia 3rd
Alana Shipp United States 2014 Ms. Olympia 4th
Yaxeni Oriquen-Garcia Venezuela 2014 Ms. Olympia 5th

Alina Popa confirms she will not be competing this year, but will be at the competition and will compete next year. The reason she is not competing is due to injuries.

So that leaves us with Debi, Alana, and Yaxeni as the only one left who are competing. This is also the first major fbb pro competition being held without the the winner and runner up aren’t competing this year. This is gonna be interesting.
