I know that Brawna is being worked on at the present time but what happened to all of the classic writers? I know some of you write fantastic stories, but I’m not in the market to buy on your various websites for the other half of your stories/material. (I know, I’m cheap.) I myself may republish and finish some of my stuff someday. Let’s just say some of the characters I’ve written about, in a VERY weird way, later on ended up appearing in MY life with the same character traits (not FBB’s sadly, but fit and with the same personality quirks/ego. lol)

I suspect a lot of authors have moved on to other things, for various reasons. I, myself, am still writing, but I’ve been writing superhero fiction; while there are still strong and muscular women in my stories, they are no longer the focus of the stories. Part of the reason for this is that I enjoy the superheroic genre. Part of it is because I can work on these stories in my free time at work- something I would be pretty uncomfortable doing if I was writing even a story as innocent and clean as a Sylph story. And part of it is simply that the superhero fiction I’ve written seems to resonate more with audiences than any of the various femuscle stories I’ve written.

So, anyways, that’s where I’ve gone, at least. You can find my newest writing on Whisakedjak’s dA page– heck, you might even like the stories about Tyche and Heretic. I invite you to check ’em out.

They’ve moved on, and as has been previously stated probably for myriad reasons. Also, keep in mind that the majority are not prolific writers; at most they have maybe a really great one-hit wonder in them. Some can push to two or even three or four stories, then that’s it. Only minority, seem have the gift for milling out product on a consistent basis, assuming that is, that they don’t burn themselves out.

Then there’s the nature of the internet. Back in the day, IRC chat rooms, message boards and news groups dominated, and there was a sense of community whether the interest was FMG, GTS, SW, Furry, whatever. Stories were a popular format. Also, there were a far greater percentage of women actively involved in the IRC chat rooms and on the message boards, which worked as both to attract and to inspire many of the creative types, because of shared interests and a desire to share with a likeminded audience of others that would not find their expressed materials to be weird or strange.

I’m still putting out a novel’s worth of content every month between my Patreon releases and free content on my DA: http://magnusmagneto.deviantart.com/

My work is better organized here: http://magnusmagneto.com/ but I actually need to update that site – hasn’t really been updated since last December.

Of course, if you don’t like my writing style then this post won’t mean much to you

Cool. I will have to check that out. Thanks!

I’m still writing stuff, although I’m doing more commissions lately.
The loss of brawna was a problem and definitely reduced my output at first.
I do publish samples of my work on deviantart:

and I have a smashwords account now.

For me, a big problem is just time. I still have plenty of ideas for stories and settings, but since I’m horribly long-winded when writing for myself, these things take forever to be finished.
If anybody’s interested, I could show my current ideas for stories which I might eventually write.

By the way: Would it be okay to post ongoing stories on this forum?
