    “Joan Laurer, the ground breaking female wrestler known as Chyna, has died.

    Police in Redondo Beach, California confirm that Laurer, 46, was found dead in her apartment on Wednesday. Police say they were notified by a friend who went to check on her and found Laurer unresponsive. The cause of death is under investigation, but police say there are no signs of foul play.”

    This is sad news. Chyna is my favorite wrestler and she did do a lot for the WWE. I will never forget her. RIP Joan Laurer and thank you for introducing me to the WWE.

    It makes me soooooooo angry whenever I think about the fact her agent waited 3 days to check on her
    Dude had 1 job,..1 job
    When you haven’t talked with your client after 2 hrs. Ya might wanna get off your ass & go check on them

    She never recovered when Paul -Michael/AKA triple HHH , threw Her over for Vince’s Daughter. then WWE management under orders to start harassing her to leave the WWE. she became a punch line and a parody ,drugs and liquor soon follow , then the stroke . I will never watch a WWE show ever again!

    According to wikipedia (they can be wrong though), it was due to salary dispute. I remember seeing her wrestling in Japan. I thought she was doing well, but she quit after a year. Kind of sad.

    that’s the official boiler plate story. she stated in interviews they kept wanting to humiliate her. Brisco and Patternson fondling her boobs which she was handcuffed in the ring was embarrassing enough it got worst. Joanie jump threw hoops for the WWE in her career.

    Back in the day, it was something of a toss-up w/ the forum fanboys (and fangirls)
    between her and Tina Lockwood as their preferred fantasy favorite to portray the character in a movie.

    Back in the day, it was something of a toss-up w/ the forum fanboys (and fangirls)
    between her and Tina Lockwood as their preferred fantasy favorite to portray the character in a movie.

    We’ll just have to settle for this is as close as fans of Chyna got with a She-Hulk movie
    Though since Tina lockwood is alive still,..there’s hope!
    Having PAID for this adult film&her other adult content I will never understand why Joanie got rid of her muscles
