I keep intending to post bigger chunks of story for my series, and I keep weakening and posting single pages when they're finished instead. This time, it's Page 9 of Tetsuko #2 (which doesn't actually show Tetsuko), and strip 13 of Dyna (which does show Dyna).
Enjoy!

Thank you for sharing!
Tschuss!

Just a few things… are you going to make the photo backdrops of Dyna the norm now? Do you think you'll backtrack to get the other pics in form with the latest stuff? Or…?
September 29, 2005 at 2:54 pm #14076AlexGKeymasterAh, the power to cloud men's (and women's) minds is not exclusively an ability of The Shadow 😎
Or in this case, we could call it an example of Tetsuko's mesmeric presence on others.

September 29, 2005 at 6:18 pm #14078The_Pimp_NeonBlackParticipantAgain, dear David, you do show us what wonders can be achieved by a simple brush. All kudos to you. Especially fo the simplicy of the Tetsuko piece -the individual reactions of each character and how they refer to their base personal lines. Most wonderful.
Thank you once again.
Peace

The first pannel in the Dyna strip looks wonderfull, you got the perspective perfectly. It look incredible.
My dear frind, I salute YOU.

AAARGH! Actually I had misread your blog and thought there would be two pages of Tet-san! The Dyna page didn't let me down either and I really liked the "Director's Cut" commentary since I find it very informative (and a nice way to cheat on backgrounds! :-D)

Well, there was going to be two pages of Tetsuko, but even I get impatient with how much time passes between new pages, so I went ahead and "shot my wad" (so to speak) with the pages I had completed.

I do like the look of the backgrounds… that was something I always enjoyed about Jack Kirby's run on Fantastic Four, that every once in a great while he'd do these cool photo-collages (probably the most famous one being the next-to-the-last-page of FF #48, "The Coming of Galactus!") . But the trouble with this particular "cheat" is that it isn't accomplishing the main thing I wanted it to; which is, it was supposed to save time! But it's still something I'll continue to do, because it's now part of my artistic "style" (such as it is).
