    Ginormous Josie

    Hello all,

    Here is the art I promised, completely drawn and coloured in Illustrator. I like how this turned out, and I definitely think that this style is worth refining a lot more :D. It's a drawing of Josie, from Josie and the Pussycats. I just found out that Archie comics was working on a Manga version of Josie, so I decided to draw this pic of her. I went with the old style costume, as its a bit more revealing.

    I say to Josie "hmm i wonder if your fingers are too big now to strum that guitar?"

    Josie Beats me over the head with her guitar and says "Never make fun of a pussycat!"

    but this is a neat drawing…you got that whole look done very well…man these are great I love Archie Comics and all the characters in em

    Cool drawing.

    One comment to make, though — how is she holding that guitar up without a strap? She's not really grabbing onto the neck, considering her thumb is behind it and her other fingers are extended…

    As it is, it looks like she's somehow got the body wedged into a thigh muscle somewhere.  😀

    Never seen a five-string guitar before, either. Or is that a bass? Can't say I'm familiar with who plays what in the Pussycats.  😆 Either way, you've got five strings and four tuning pegs.

    Sorry if this seems petty, I play bass so I notice these sorts of things first. Great job on the girl, which is what counts I suppose. We need more female bassists in the world, buffed up and southpaw or not!  :mrgreen:
