I have been trying to figure this out for a while now. When people say you can easily Advertise Porn Site traffic with the right ad formats, it sounds simple. But once you actually start testing things, it gets confusing fast.
My main issue was choosing between banners, pop traffic, native ads, and push notifications. Everyone online has a different opinion. Some say banners are dead. Others swear by pops. I wasted a decent chunk of my budget just trying random formats without really understanding user behavior.
From my experience, banner ads felt the safest but also the slowest to get results. They are easy to set up, but the click rates were not that impressive unless the placement was really good. Pop traffic brought volume quickly, but the quality was mixed. I had to test different landing pages to see any real improvement. Push ads surprised me the most. They felt less aggressive, and I noticed better engagement when the message was short and direct.
What I realized is that no single ad format works best for everyone. It depends on your niche, your landing page, and how warm your traffic is. If someone already has intent, simple and clear ads tend to work better than flashy creatives. Also, tracking everything changed the game for me. Once I started cutting off underperforming placements, things improved.
If you are just starting out, I would say test small with two formats instead of five. Give each one enough data before deciding. It is less about finding the “best” format and more about finding what matches your audience.
