I’ve been wondering lately—why do some ads for adult platforms actually convert while others just burn money? I’m not new to running ads, but this niche feels like a totally different game.
One thing I struggled with early on was figuring out where to even run Ads for Adult Platforms without getting blocked or flagged. Mainstream platforms just don’t make it easy, and even when ads go live, the results can be pretty underwhelming. Low clicks, almost no signups—it’s frustrating.
So I started testing smaller networks and doing a bit more digging. I came across this list that gave me a better idea of where people are actually getting traction. It didn’t magically fix everything, but it helped me stop guessing and start testing smarter.
From what I’ve seen, creatives matter way more than I expected. Not just flashy visuals, but how you frame the message. Being too aggressive or explicit can actually hurt performance. I got better results when I toned things down slightly and made the ads feel more curious than pushy.
Targeting is another thing I underestimated. At first, I went broad thinking more reach = better results. That didn’t work. Narrowing down audience segments, even a little, made a noticeable difference in engagement.
Also, landing pages… I ignored those for too long. Even a decent ad won’t save a bad page. Once I cleaned that up, conversions started improving without changing much else.
I’m still figuring things out, but it feels less random now. Curious if others here have noticed similar patterns or found something that works consistently?
