How to Wash and Care for Vietnamese Hair Bundles

Vietnamese hair bundles are highly prized for their thickness, natural shine, and incredible durability. Because this hair is thick and raw, keeping it hydrated is the absolute secret to maintaining its luxurious bounce and longevity.

To wash your bundles, always detangle gently from tips to roots using a wide-tooth comb before getting the hair wet. Wash the strands in lukewarm water using a sulfate-free, moisturising shampoo. Instead of rubbing the hair together—which causes friction and tangling—gently stroke the suds downward from the weft to the ends.

Next, saturate the hair with a rich, moisture-locking conditioner or deep conditioning mask, leaving it on for at least 20 minutes to penetrate the dense hair shafts. Rinse wigs thoroughly with cool water to seal the cuticles and lock in the shine.
