I know the Addventure is not for everyone but I thought that this story might bring some festive cheer to the forum… not that it's really christmassy, it's just about this Flu… that makes girls Amazons. Clever name for it I thought. Enjoy and feel free to make your own additions but if you do, make sure you're acquainted with Addventure etiquette and follow the "rules" of the virus.
Hope you like it.
December 5, 2005 at 7:56 pm #18909AlexGKeymasterJust as a side-bar, the concept (loosely speaking) reminds me of the Amazonian growth story "A Plague of Angels" by Au Goose involving nanotech as a disease vector.

Expand the collapsed messages and hopefully you'll find a few.
He had a really rocking style and a nice appreciation of Video Game and Manga lust, especially anything by Masumune Shirow.
I've found Yinside Out and a repost of Double Dare.
Back on topic I really like the goings on in this story Prophet Tenebrae.
The choose your own FMG-venture feel ius amusing as well. It would be cool if you reprinted the possible choices before posting the chosen chapter. So the seperate but unused possibilites could be seen. 😎

As far as I'm aware the only way to see the alternate options is to actually enter the episode.
I do rather wish that more people would try their hand at Addventuring… it's not like "real" writing. Although, it can become rather addictive when you get a good rythm going with another author.
As to the concept of infectious transformative agents – well, that's literally ancient but I'm of the opinion that these days nothing is ever really original – hence, it's how you do it that matters… and I feel that Amazon Flu has been chugging along nicely.
I'd actually envisioned the Flu progressing more slowly and only gradually permeating into the school community… but that's the nature of the Addventure for you. Anyway, please do feel free to add on to it and give me feedback on how it's going.
December 8, 2005 at 10:07 am #18913blah8884ParticipantGreat job on the story prophet! I hope you keep on continuing 😆
December 8, 2005 at 3:30 pm #18914Prophet TenebraeParticipantI will, blah… although I'm at the point where the continuation of the story is dependent on me coming up with a good direction and the direction I should take the story isn't exactly clear to me.
Any suggestions or ideas will be greatly appreciated.

I have what few chapters he posted of "A Plague of Angels" on a diskette. If I had the permission of the author to re-post them, I would, but I don't and no way to contact him – so, leave me a PM if your interested and include your email addy in order to forward them on.
