New World, New Friend

I awoke from my sleep to take on another normal Saturday morning but I got something else. I was in a large bed, big enough to fill half a mini mall. I suddenly realized that I appeared to be 5 inches tall but this room this house was not mine. I slowly climbed down the gigantic blankets to the wooden floor. I saw the door was open and gave me more opportunity to explore as I walked passed the door it seemed to be the size of a large hotel. I wondered through a hallway that made me feel like I was in a church cathedral. I made my way to what appeared to be the living room and through another entry way there was a kitchen. I discovered a mouse hole the size of a garage entry. I slowly walked up to the hole I held my breath I didn’t know if was going to discover a giant flesh eating rat or if a swarm of horse cockroaches wanting to sacrifice me to the god Agoogoo. I slowly peered in what discovered was beyond bizarre. I found it had black bears in the hole I turned away fast and said to myself “this is all a dream don’t worry” I pinched my self as hard as I could but then I understood that this might be reality.

I saw another hole that had light coming through it. The hole was little bit smaller but I could fit through it. I crawled through the hole to the other side. When I got out I was en large I was in my normal size. I was standing a long grassy field stretching for miles. I turned around the cottage was just bigger than me I was my normal size the whole time. All of the sudden I heard a loud thump, the ground shook. I looked in the distance and discovered someone was walking in my direction. The person was as tall as the trees. Without hesitation I ran back through the hole. As I caught my breath I heard the door make a loud creek and I quickly took a look at the giant to my surprise the giant was girl. She looked like she was 17 years old. She had brownish blonde hair and brown eyes she was wearing normal clothes that were gigantic. She spotted me and I took of down the hall and into the bed room. I heard her footsteps right behind me. I quickly hid under the bed and curled up in a ball and looked through the opening I saw her eye looking at me, “Go Away” I yelled, I tried not to cry

She responded with I won’t hurt you” her voice was quiet and peaceful. I squinted my eyes shut and prayed for it to be over. Then she grabbed me and placed me on a gigantic coffee table. She looked down at me and said “I’m sorry about this, I’m just lonely” “Who are you?” I stuttered. She replied “My name is Susan what’s yours?” “My name is Ryan” I replied with a bit more confidence. “I never thought I’d one day meet a girl who was taller than me much less be friends with one” Susan smiled “Why did you take me?” I asked “I get lonely hear I was watching you for a wile I wanted to meet you” I responded with simple “okay” nodded my head a few times than asked “ have you always been this big?” “Yes” she sighed “I was born with this condition, you see my father was a scientist who was trying to find ways to make children healthier so when my mother was pregnant he injected here the serum to make me ‘ideal child’ as he would say. One that would never get sick and one that would be very intelligent but my pituitary gland was different the hormones affected every part of my body my heart longs brain bones every thing. By the time I was in kindergarten I was 6ft 8 inches tall. As continued to grow more people became worried if was going to cause any trouble. Dad tried to protect me but he was sent to an insane asylum after he tried to apply braces to elders and the toothless” “why would he do that?” I asked “I don’t know” she replied “my mother than got a gamboling problem and lost all her money, I ran away soon after thinking they wouldn’t want me any more and I made the house in the forest”

She picked me up and held me close to her heart “I always get depressed when talk about my parents” she sighed. “Don’t worry it happens to us all the time” I said “I really need to get home before my parents go nuts when they don’t find me however we can still be friends and keep in touch with each other but we will have to keep it a secret” I followed. Susan smiled and said “Ok” she placed me on here left shoulder and walked of to town. She placed me down at the front of the house and waved a friendly goodbye. I thought to myself “wait until the guys see my prom date.”
