Wish I could buy it! 😥 Really good job!
February 3, 2006 at 4:20 am #21808btxParticipantY'know I've gone to ebay several times and tried to search under "muscle woman art" or "original amazon art" and the like. I never find any hits, but I know people have put up works for sale. This either means that I'm making the wrong searches (maybe I should just search under the character name instead) or the works are being snatched up immediately as they are put out. Needless to say, ours is a …. specialty service, so as fine a drawing of PG I've ever seen I'm not sure how big the bids will be. If you don't mind me asking, what do you expect to sell it for?

BTX- You've got to search for specific characters. No-one's gonna just post a 'muscle girl'. Another way is to commission something.

Seriously, I don't know. Since the character is famous, it will help. But since muscularity isn't to everybody's taste, it could be a handicap… 😛 But then, Kara was always drawn quite buff… So, I'd say at least 150$…Anyway, if you decide to sell it on eBay, don't forget to post a link on the forum. 😉
PS: read the first line again… 🙄

BTXYou’re right about the searching method on eBay, since it’s based upon the entry title / content of the listing (and it’s usually best to checkmark the “Search titles & descriptions” option). Unless you are target / character specific, (i.e. "She-Hulk Comic Artwork") you aren't likely to have as many, if any, returns. Probably it’s because the seller is either ignorant about including it in the listing or, more likely naturally assumes that the character is synonymous with the Amazonian archetype that he/she doesn't need to spell out something so obvious as "original amazon art" or "muscle woman art".
On a related topic, something else to keep in mind is that something as similar as “Female Bodybuilding” doesn’t have nearly as many returns in a listings search as does “Female Bodybuilder.” So if you’re going to sell off those old WPW videos or buffed-chix magazines, try to put both somewhere in the listing. 😉
