"Space girl" at Gen Con 2002

    I don't even recall whatever convoluted series of links got me to this pic… but I'm glad it did!

    Why can't a woman like this ever show up at a con I'm at??

    lol that's a great picture…

    I might be alone on this one, but does anybody else think that really the best part of that picture is the guy to the right looking worried about something lol?

    I remember her!!  I believe that she was one of the models that Clyde Caldwell used for his artwork/paintings!  That was the last Gen Con that I've attended since it moved from Milwaukee to Indianapolis afterwards.  She's an older woman in very nice shape and she turned a lot of heads walking around the convention floor those four days. 

    Julie Bell was at Gen Con previously (although I cannot remember what year).  She's not only muscular but a famous painter herself.  🙂

    She doth look quite familiar though I's cannot place it.
    I's do believe that my's dear friend, Tanya Zeekman (also a amatuer FBB), may be aquainted with her through the Convention Scene (she is a true 'comic book geek' and that is how and where she was first encountered) and has a photograph of that lady hanging somewhere in her house.
    I's must ask when next I's do reach America's Western shore.

    Nice picture, though she's a bit wiry for being called "bodybuilder".  But then again, that might just be my personal opinions blending with the general public's apparent notion that any woman who has even a little definition is immediately an uber-buff bodybuilder.

    To me, she'd need a bit more bulk (kinda like Bob77's avatar), not just merely great definition, to rank as "bodybuilder". As-is, I would've called her "athletic", at the best.

    Semantics aside, she's a great-looking lady.

    Cool find. That’s the kind of lady that rarely makes it to a comics convention… and if she ever met me in person at a convention, she’d never come back. 😀
