Anyone catch the JLU episode "Grudge Match" from last night.  Synopsis from TV.com:

Roulette returns with a new version of Metabrawl…and plans to use the Justice League to boost her ratings.

It's a follow up to the "Cat and Canary" episode.  This time Luthor helps Roulette use mind-control to force the female JLeaguers to fight in cage matches.  Here are some of the fights in this episode:

    Huntress vs. Black Canary
Huntress & Black Canary vs. Vixen & Shayera (Hawkgirl)
Huntress & Black Canary & Vixen & Shaera vs. Wonder Woman

It was pretty entertaining to watch WW thrash everyone's beautiful butts.  πŸ™‚

Well, I did leave a linked annoucement about it late yesterday afternoon in the other JLU thread – even commented that it was not listed in my local TV guide dispite the fact that the CN website had it in its line up for Toonami.

And yes, it was very good – especially the short scene with the Question commenting on his discovery of the secret 32nd Baskin Robbins ice cream flavor.   πŸ˜Ž

"Ah HA!  As I suspected: thirty two flavors."

And did you catch the Nightwing cameo?

I liked that part too.  An appearance by the full-figured Fire was a nice touch too.  I'm not thrilled with that Brazillian accent they gave her.  Gina Torres as Vixen is always nice.  This truly was a all-out fan-service episode, wasn't it.  All it was missing was Supergirl or Galatea.  I'm really enjoying these episodes that don't fall into larger story-arcs, they're just fun.

    Lingster:  Where was Nightwing?

    Lingster:  Where was Nightwing?

As Huntress follows Black Canary along the bridge into Bludhaven, there are a series of Gargoyles in the foreground.  The last Gargoyle is actually Nightwing – his head tracks to follow the Huntress' motorcycle.

(And by the way, what kind of idiot wears a long flowing cape on a motorcycle?)

If you want to talk about implausibility, I think you'd have to talk about Lex Luthor having the ability to Mind control JLers through their Commlinks.  So instead of bending the entire league to his will, he forces them to cat fight for money…

Well, he probably thought he could get away with it on a small scale.  πŸ™‚

    Dude, Galatea's dead, remember?

And I agree, Question's discovery of the 32nd flavor was the best part of the episode, with Sonar's "Chickapalooza" suggestion as a close runner-up. πŸ˜€

("The Great Brain Robbery" was still funnier, of course.)

Lingster, on the main page, you wrote "Note to Viacom:Wonder Woman is mad at you" or something like that. Um, why would she be angry at Viacom?
