ParticipantHey, thanks for remembering, Yates. It’s been a while since someone mentioned those stories. I hope Thatdude likes them. One of these days, I’ve got to finish a couple more stories that are lurking on the old hard drive.
Later,

ParticipantTrue, true, Mr. Powers. Perhaps you might complete your stories for say… one MILLION dollars!! ::places pinkie near mouth::
But seriously, I’d love to see your particular version of the pendant completed. You left us hanging!! 😮

ParticipantAre you kidding me? That’s a fantastic story.
I read the whole series one night and that’s what really turned me on to this genre. I still reread that story a couple of times a year.

ParticipantI’m actually re-reading that right now. 🙂
Truly a classic.

ParticipantI’m glad you folks liked The Librarian series so much.
Zes, I would love to finish The Necklace – as a matter of fact I’ve even got a good start on it – but I left myself in a terrible bind. The necklace has the ability to give the guy ultimate power. And as you know, with great power comes great responsibility. I’m just not sure I’d be responsible enough to come up with a satisfying ending to the tale.
But I mush on. I’m almost done with a Black Cat story that I promised our host, ML, about a year ago. Things like that happen when your laptop goes ka-blooie.

ParticipantHere’s a solution to that problem. Don’t end it!
Another thought. Many are given great responsibilty, and then flub it. That can be fun too.
Then again, if you like happy endings, but haven’t thought of one yet, just put the magic three words at the very bottom. "To be continued."

Yeah, after reading this thread, I opted to go back and re-read the story, myself. Still great. 😀
