I was trying to get a good shot of my legs the other day to show to some of my friends and well, kitty Snuggles snuck into the pic and made it half show offish, half cute. Hope you guys don't mind my sharing it here. My calves look a bit of the same, but the back of my thighs are starting to show more firm muscle under the fat.

    Cute cat.

If you want some poses that helps you check the shaping of the back of your legs (especially your hamstrings), I's can recommend two.

The first is merely standing straight and tensing the muscle around your knee (not your thigh or calf), this brings tension to both the upper calf and the hamstring and really allows you to view any definiation which you may have there.

The second is a little more resque and requires a degree of flexability.
Colloquially known as the 'Moonshot' this pose requires you to be forward as though you are going to touch your toes but instead of reaching right down, you tense your entire leg and raisely slightly onto your toes.
This is a pose which I's recommend for your own private use, due to the exposing nature of it. It has also been removed as an 'Allowed Pose' from American compotitions. So, 'tis a good pose to use to see your progress but not a good one to take photos of and share.

Thank you for this update and best of continuing luck to you, dear friend.

    Peace

^_^ Thanks so much for the tips, Neon. I would think the latter that you described wouldn't be so bad in a photo if you cut it off before it got too high, lol.
Anyways, I had a couple more pics I'm a little proud of of my upper back here.
    One while relaxed…

You can see the muscle in the first back pic but the second REALLY shows off the definition! Very nicely done!
