ParticipantA&E has released the episode featuring that skit in the 4th dvd box set. After watching it again I was inspired to ask this question…the first time you saw the skit, whether when it originally aired(like me) or since, what was your reaction to it?
As I'm sitting there, watching the girl's chest expand(this was also my first experience with BE), in the back of my mind I'm thinking to myself "Could this be an 'Incredible Hulk' parody?" Once I heard the shirt tearing sound effects, I knew that it was. It was the last thing I was expecting. I'd sooner expect Benny himself to play the Hulk in a parody skit, as opposed to a distaff version. The ironic thing about this skit is that it predates Marvel's She-Hulk. Dressing the She-Hulk in a dominatrix outfit was probably the weirdest part of the skit.

fasolaParticipantyes, it was kind of weird for me, specially because I was a small kid in that time (about 8) and it was the first time I saw it. In those days I had mixed fellings, like there was something more that I liked besides the normal joke. It was also one of my first BE experiences, and now it is all to blury in my mind.
I never saw it as a she-hulk parody in those days, because I wasn`t aware of her existance, I only saw it as a twisted Hulk parody. I don't know exactly when it first aired, but I don't know id it was a parody about Jen, but mostly about the Hulk. Unless, Mr Hill was a closet schmoo, or a fan of strong women.

ParticipantI's do remember watching this clip when I's was quiet young (not even of 8 years Living) and dwelling in England and think -not knowing who She-Hulk or such characters were- why more things were not as such.
I's was also attempting (and often failing) to read Ovid's Metamorphoses (a present my's Paternal Grandfather) and was of the mind that such transformations were natural and everyday.
Seeing such things as the She-Hulk transformation and espying the occasional breast inflation and other transformation sequence in mainstream media (movies, television and comic books/magazines) simply reinforced these ideas.
As did my's later religious teaching (in Doaism) that Form is mutable and able to alter in state, shape and element through the right training and mindset.Part of I was most disappointed that such fact was not reality but the remained is still thrilled by the fantasy.

ANYWAY….
I first saw it over at a friend's house. She used to tape Benny Hill and watch it for time to time. I never liked Benny Hill. I still don't like it. And I thought the sketch was weird as hell.

Women, generally, are not Benny Hill fans. They tend to find his humor sexist. Those who like his stuff, I find, are keepers.
Not sure why Deadly Pixxie thought it was weird. Maybe she will deign to tell us.
