"A long time ago, in a galaxy far far away…."
For those of us of a certain age, it wasn't just George Lucas who was responsible for Star Wars fever. It was also the great poster by the Hildebrandt brothers, Greg and Tim.
Whether it was Lord of The Rings or the Sword of Sahdihara series as well as countless calendars of wizards and dragons, the Hildebrandt brothers set the high standard for fantasy and sword and socery during the 70's and 80's. Tim Hildebrandt passed away today from complications of diabetes. He was 67 years old. He will be missed.

Rest in peace, Mr Hildebrandt.
'Tis indeed sad news.
Another fine artist who's work did play much upon my's young imagination has been given to Dust and Eternity.
Such is the Fate of us all but we cannot help but lament all those Souls coming who shall miss his exquisite works.
Peace
The Pimp NeonBlack
