    I'm sure some people at least know about this, and there might be a thread somewhere else, i didn't know where something like this would go. Apparently gideon's selling his lapto with all his art on it.

    Yeah I saw it… Had even considered bidding on it for th laptop mainly.  That was when it was $700.  Now its over $2000, and will probably go higher.

    The man gets to both update his hardware AND market his art at the same time.

    Since he is selling the private collection art directly he'll know who is distributing it without his permission if he finds it online some place.

    A win/win situation.

    hey, if he sells it with the art inside, won't they guy that buys it, get the right to do whatever he wants with the art inside?

    $2000?!

    Not unless Gideon's explicitly selling the copyrights to the images. Physical ownership of artwork does not necessarily confer reproduction (or any other) rights.
