A thinner Gen13’s Caitlin Fairchild?

    While Gen13 has stopped once and DC plans of restarting it, Caitlin might not be as build as her previous version. Is it because a thinner Caitlin would sell better or because the artist doesn't like to draw muscles on women? I don't know and it's just guessing on my part. Here is what she looks like:

    Damn >:( I hate when comics do this. There is nothing wrong with a woman loooking like an amazon yet they continually try to downplay muscle even though the lifts she is doing and the continuos fighting and exercise would cause her to pack on muscle.

    Looks fine to me.

    Only Adam Hughes ever drew her really buff. Everyone else and she was kind of fitness sized for the most part, and that is how she's depicted here.

    I'm lookin' forward to the comic.

    I personally loved the way Caitlin was depicted by Arther Addams with Monky Man and Obrian. Now you talk about some muscles! Caitlin was like a bodybuilder but Obrian made her look like a runt!

    I personally like the little pic inset in the upper left corner of the second link where Roxie is drawn muscular just because.

    I swear that Art Adams needs to draw more!  Particularly more "Monkeyman and O'Brien".  I want to see what happened to her sister.  😉

    Joe Madureira has drawn her well built and in Deathmate Black (her first appearance) she was really big as drawn by Brandon Peterson. I own that 2nd page and if I can find the scan I'll try and post it.

    The buffest I recall her appearing was in Stormwatch, where she was heavyweight FBB sized.  That was in an issue where Stormwatch assembled a big contingent of superhumans for some purpose I don't now recall.
