ParticipantJust read an earlier post about the "Jaguar" a muscular amazon DC comics published under their Impact! imprint back in the nineties. That brought back memories… It seems in the late 80's/early 90's mainstream comics were more adventurous with images of female muscle. This drawing I did years ago inspired by that character. Anyone else remember her?

ParticipantI remember… it was the muscularity of the title character that attracted me in the first place.

ParticipantThanks BTX. She was a character I collected with ferver. An interesting note is Rags Morales did pages with her nice and muscley.

ParticipantShe was awful muscled. 😛 And her eyes were a nice touch too. 😀

ParticipantAh yes, the beautiful Jaguar, wich like She-hulk had 2 personalities: so naîve and gentle in her human personality, and much more aggressive and assertive in her Jaguar form…
I remember having purchased at that time 14 copies of her title, are there more?? ???August 27, 2006 at 6:31 pm #37450btx
ParticipantAlas, she is no longer in continuity after Superboy Prime punched that wall…. 😛

You got Jaguar and Pantha confused there. Its the latter (Teen Titans member, not sure if they ever explained her outside being connected with the Wildebeest Society…from what I read) that's dirt napping courtesy of the idiots over at DC. Who knows where Jaguar is.

Actually, I was lamenting the apparent "end" of DC's multiverse… which would include the Impact! characters as well.

ParticipantYeah, so I read…why the heck does DC keep ruining things like that? Sure a lot of characters become obscure and ultra-obscure, but that doesn't mean you have to kill everyone that no one is "supposedly" using…one or two may have a future if the right writer comes along.
