    Lingster would be the final authority on this, I think; but it seems to me that it wouldn't be out of line to post in "Announcements and Updates" announcing your availability for commissions.

    If somebody's got 400 posts they can do a little self-promotion.  The problem crops up when people rarely or never post except to promote themselves.
