September 10, 2006 at 2:04 pm #38860Matthew LimParticipantFrom great to greatest:
5. No Meat Please by ZZZ
4. (Tie) The Milk/Reverse It by Eddy Delaney Jr.
3. Will's Power by Lingster
2. Super Dense by Gribble
1. The Librarian Series by Rick PowersSeptember 10, 2006 at 3:16 pm #38861jsimonParticipantIt would be useful to many if links could be provided to these titles. I know there's a few I haven't read in the list.
September 10, 2006 at 8:03 pm #38862gblock01ParticipantI honestly don't know what my top 5 are. I'm caught between my bias for my own stories and other stories that have inspired me.
September 10, 2006 at 9:03 pm #38863AlexGKeymasterRather then say which stories (itβs so subjective, depending upon individual tastes) I'd rather list some of my favorite authors (other then myself, of course.) π
In no particular order –
Hi-Standard (well, he is the best of the best GTS writers, period.)
Silent One
Au Goose (I'm still waiting for you to finish-up A Plague of Angels.)
Lady Kate (aka GTSKate, Kate Manson, JenWalters – GGTS writer, one of the best.)
Lady Cashia (a writer of GGTS and Shrink)
Lady Rojo (technical inclusion here, a r/l FBBr, but as she told me she only writes historical non-TF romance stories)
Xander (aka Alex Starfighter, Alexx Lightsabre, Alex Spaceknight, etc – in short he is/was the man of many nicks.)
The Mighty Lingster
The WizZZZ
Smitty
Crow Magnon (where are you today when we so need your GGTS stories?)
Masschine (aka Big200 – thought I forgot your old nick, didn't you?)
Goldenbane (wrote the best sequel that I ever have read to the Attack of the 50' Woman)
Bond (Evil Giantess Hunter stories, nuff said.)
Hatour
Paul Bunyan
Rick Powers (aka Mac of Morphenomenal ?)
Shade (did he or she ever write more then The Coming Out ?)
Terry Handshy (aka Terry19d – She-Hulk writer extraordinaire)
MrG (the man of near-limitless GTS story concepts)βI like a good story well told. That is the reason I am sometimes forced to tell them myself.β

MrG (the man of near-limitless GTS story concepts)Hmm… now I'm curious, what's the story of "A Plague of Angels"? I'd like to read that even if it isn't complete. Btw, do you know what happend to the story "The Tube?" I think I just stopped :(.
And my favorite FMG? hmm.. too many to think of.

I'll answer the last question about The Tube, first – (and I'm assuming you're referring to the story by Logan) – what he had written thus far was re-posted a year back on the Everything Grows forum –
(takes time to load, so be patient)

Like AuGoose, he still pops up there every now and then, but I have no idea if he'll make a return to his story(s).
As for Plague of Angels, also known as Code Avatar, it was Au Goose's first story on the EG forum, only three chapters – Unfinished. (Personally, I consider it his best work.) Something of a techno-thriller with female transformation into Angelic Amazonian beings – elements include increased height, plausible femuscular growth, breast augmentation and (I suppose you could call it Transgenetic in nature) flight capable wings.
He told me that he planned to only write 2-3 more to wrap it up – and last I heard he had yet to write them, which was about a year ago. Being that I have his prior-permission to archive it for others to enjoy, I'll re-post what I have in one of the stories forums.
