    Apparently the Tarzan Sunday newspaper strip ran a series featuring muscular, transformed women in the summer and fall of 1960.

    Tarzan stumbles across a tribe of amazons that has figured out a way to transform normal women, making them muscular and much stronger than men.  They plan to unleash their secret on the world, but Tarzan stops them somehow.

    Anyone with convenient access to newspaper archives from this period might want to take a look.

    aren't those strips the ones that are aT LhArt? There are some of tarzan newspaprer strips ( not The ones that OJ Heller drew).

    I wouldn't be surprised by that.  A reader sent me one strip and it could have been taken from an LH-Art page.  Does LH-Art have the whole run or just a piece of it?

    I have to check tha t up Lingster, but there are many strips. I think there are some missing.

    If it was taken form the site it should have a wate rmark.
