ParticipantThis is a drawing that was inspired by a very dramatic table top RPG session that my Legend of the 5 Rings character went through. Heres a quick explanation on the story that inspired the pic.
There are five elements that the universe is built on. (earth, water, fire, air, void) Each of these elements has two aspects tied to it (earth; stamina and willpower, water; strength and perception, fire; agility and intelligence, air; reflexes and awareness, void; everything and nothingness)
The group I play the game with have been playing our characters for around two years so we have all accumulated a lot of experience points and are rather powerful. Each of the characters of the group in are "keepers" of an aspect of one of the elements. My character, Hida Binoko, you have probably guessed is the keepers of strength. ;D
Anyway the group had lost touch with our enlightenment do to in fighting. It is a rather large group with many people that are very different. In order to restore our enlightenment we had to convince one of the party members that another party members duty as a yujimbo (protector) did not require for him to like someone to do his job to the best of his ability. Personal feelings didn't matter in the face of duty.
It was obvious that rational speaking wasn't going to convince the party member that her belief in the matter was not a falsehood. She was after all the keeper of willpower so it made sense. One of the other party members, Shiba Kusi, decided to show her a yujimbo's duties took precedence above all other duties.
Kusi turned towards her husband Kuni Nizan and struck him twice almost killing him. My character Hida Binoko was Nizan's yujimbo so I was forced to attack Kusi. Binoko's tetsubo struck Kusi and she was critically wounded. As Kusi said her final words to Binoko she died in her arms as Binoko wept. Kusi and Binoko had only known each other for a very short time but they had quickly grown to be close friends and friends were indeed hard for Binoko to come by so she morned the loss of her traveling companion and friend as Nizan and the rest of the group just stood in shock at the events that had just transpired.
The pic is of Hida Binoko weeping for her best friend Kusi as She watches over her from the clouds above. I really like the pic but the cloud that Kusi is watching from looks a lot better in the actual drawing than in the scan.
I know this is a long explanation for a pic but it would be confusing for anyone who didn't know the story.
Hope you all like it.

I don't actually play any CC Gs but I do love the table top RPG. Binoko just hit rank 5 last weekend and now has a ridiculously high strength. She is a total blast to play and its hilarious how the rest of the group interacts with her.

ParticipantYou play the legend of the five rings? I love you! XD Well, not that much, but it's good to see someone that shares the liking for that game 🙂
I DM it. The first edition, waiting for a couple things in the campaign to happen to change to the third one. The funny thing is that one of my players, for some reasons, had made a girl with strenght 6. His next character was going to be his former character's student, which was this girl. Due to a stupid death he decided to make a powerhouse of a character, and that includes, from his point of view, having strenght 6 (thanks to the kharma rule I gave him a lot of points to spend in the new character). I found that funny. Even if the rest of the players tend to avoid her…

Actually Binoko's natural strength is 6 but she is shadowlands tainted as well with unholy beauty and unholy strength so she gets to roll 8 keep 6 for all strength rolls.and thats without activating any special abilities. Binoko's one of the damned bereserkers along with being a regular berserker as well. her damage roles are insane ;D Surprisingly she is one of the most even tempered people in the group though lol

Ah yes, I had read the new tainted powers in the 3rd edition. I remember that I suddenly wanted to create a NPC with the shadowlands taint and that power XD Well, it's good to know that the taint isn't affecting her mind, but only her body 🙂
